Banana Bread

Do you love the Banana Nut Bread Baking Line candle? Check out this banana bread recipe. It's the best one I've ever made.

1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 cup all pupose flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas (about 3)
2 eggs OR 1/2 cup liquid egg substitute
1/2 cup applesauce
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt

Combine dry ingredients in one bowl. In another bowl, thoroughly mix wet ingredients (including bananas). Add the wet mixture to the dry, stirring until just blended. Pour into a 9x5 loaf pan sprayed with nonstick spray. Bake for about 50 minutes. Allow the loaf to cool slightly and remove from pan. Makes 8 servings.
